Description
A key fragment of Mykhailo Bilas’s 1978 tapestry “Shchedrivka” comes to life in this embroidery. Here is a star, a symbol of light, joy, and a festive mood.
The red, yellow, and green colors are like the warmth of the holiday, the richness of the earth, and life that continues even when it is winter outside.
Like the original, the patch was made with great love for Shchedryi Vechir, homemade uzvar, and long visits before Epiphany.
Created in collaboration with the Mykhailo Bilas Art Museum. Every stitch breathes with attention to the artist and his immortal craftsmanship.
