Kazka Socks
Description
"Fairy tale" socks were created together with the ZAG gallery for the exhibition "HE: Taras Shevchenko. Artist".
The basis is a motif from Shevchenko's graphic work, where Death appears not as a threatening symbol, but as an interlocutor. This is a scene of internal dialogue, built on the contrast of light and shadow, presence and boundary. The artist works with allegory discreetly and precisely, leaving room for interpretation – without moralizing, without literalism.
The "Fairy Tale" patch transfers this tension into a tangible object. This is not an illustration of a plot, but a fixation of a state — a moment of concentration in which fragility and strength coexist side by side. The image sounds modern, because it speaks in a language that does not need explanation: about the presence of a border as a part of human experience.
