Bakota Patch

Description
Bakota is an ancient settlement on the bank of the Dniester, now partially submerged beneath the waters of the Dniester Reservoir.
Rock monasteries remain on the cliffs by the water, where monks lived and prayed hundreds of years ago.
The place is known for its panoramas: the river flows between high slopes, surrounded by picturesque forests and cliffs.
The silence here is special—it preserves the memory of the people who once built upon and protected these lands.
Bakota reminds us: history does not disappear; it remains in the landscape, in the water, in the feeling of peace and light.
