“One’s Own Freedom” Reminder Patch
Description
A series of embroidered “Reminders” patches bearing words that preserve their power across generations.
Created in collaboration with the Movyty community.
These quotations from Taras Shevchenko and Lesia Ukrainka resonate just as strongly today as when they were written.
Each patch is a personal reminder of freedom, dignity, and love for what is one’s own.
“In one’s own house—one’s own truth, one’s own might and freedom.”
Taras Shevchenko
A patch about independence and the right to have one’s own voice.
About how strength lies in what is one’s own—in the inner freedom to be oneself and create one’s own space.
A reminder of the support one’s native land provides.
We direct 20% of sales to the development of the Movyty community, which strengthens the Ukrainian-speaking environment.
