Good Rooster Patch
Description
The new “Good Rooster” patch continues our search and desire to integrate world designs into our forms.
At the center of the patch is a rooster in the style of the famous Portuguese tiles. In Portugal, its image can be found everywhere: from souvenirs and building façades to monuments and tableware.
The legend of the Rooster of Barcelos tells how it crowed, saving an innocent young man from execution and becoming a symbol of good fortune and justice in Portugal. Since then, the rooster has carried the symbolism of truth always triumphing over falsehood 🐓
It is often depicted in bright colors and decorated with flowers and other patterns. We did the same, integrating a well-known part of Portuguese culture into a Ukrainian patch that can now be worn.
