Moonlight Patch

The “Moonlight” Patch was created after Volodymyr Bohuslavskyi’s work of the same name, in collaboration with ZAG Gallery especially for the exhibition “The Little Prince”—about a child’s luminous view of beauty that touches the eternal.

At the heart of this work is a sense of silence and inner light, born not of logic but of intuition. The artist himself, Volodymyr Bohuslavskyi, explains it very simply and yet impossibly simply:

“I’ll tell you one secret. You have to put your soul into a painting. It sounds banal, but when you enter this state during the creative process, your soul gives back to you. It is almost impossible to explain—this is no longer a question of religion or faith. Some things lie beyond our understanding.”

This statement is the key to “Moonlight”. It is about how the artist’s true world begins where the rational ends. The painting, and now the patch, preserves this atmosphere—a quiet, deep, almost meditative presence of light that needs no explanation.
